basic steps: - need to use a dynamic DNS service like dyndns to map (some) domain name to the changed IP address - Run a dynamic DNS updater client like ddclient (part of Debian distribution, get it with apt-get) on the BeagleBone (or other local server) to identify the changed router IP (via whatsmyip or similar) and update it in the dynamic DNS system (it may also be possible to set the router to do this) - Configure the router to forward port traffic for appropriate ports to the server
